Rachel Bentley

Creativity has always been a part of my life. My brother has creativity like no other. My brother, Isaac has autism spectrum disorder, so socializing isn't his cup of tea but that didn't stop him from creating the coolest stories. When we would watch our Saturday morning cartoons, I noticed something; there are never characters like Isaac. In my profession, I plan to bring characters like Isaac to life in entertainment field. Everyone should feel represented when watching a movie or reading a children's book and that's what I plan to do.

Hello, my name is Rachel Bentley, and I am a visual effects artist.  I grew up doing all kinds of art from puppet making to musical theatre.  From there I went on to take art classes in school, online, and summer camps focused on art. However, my love for visual effects overpowered all other forms of art. When I am not doing visual effects, I am creating puppets for my stop-motion projects or embroidering a shirt. I am currently a student at Savannah College of Art and Design working towards my BFA in Visual Effects. During the academic year, I’m based in Savannah, GA, but I will always call the NKY/ Cincinnati area my home.
